18Plus Models Making Waves

December has been a great month for 18PLUS models.Plus Model Magazine and Skorch Magazine has featured models size 18+. Plus size consumers have been voicing how they want to see women that look like themselves in ads and campaigns and it is great to see that we are making waves in the plus modeling industry and some plus industry people are listening. Plus Model Magazine featured blogger's Gabi Fresh and Nicolette Mason on the cover and also featured models 18+ Models that have successful careers in the plus modeling industry,Skorch Magazine has featured the beautiful 18+ model Tess Munster on the cover. This has inspired a lot of aspiring models like myself to keep pushing.

LS1426 Inc. Presents 1426 Fashion Week

Day 1

I had the pleasure to walk the runway for and interview several designers in the LS1426 Fashion Week at the Sheraton Hotel, Dania Beach, FL on November 11-13, 2011. This show was an event that you did not want to miss. Day 1 was opened with a beautiful pool side fashion show featuring plus and straight size models and such designers as LaMaica and many more from the Fashion Honor Group, The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale . Day two was a day that any model did not want to miss.Alana From Soma Intimates came in and helped us better understand the importance of proper fitting under garments.So you are in doubt about the bra size you are wearing be sure to stop Soma Intimates. We also had the privilege to get hands on training on our runway walk and also inside tips on how to break into the modeling industry from runway super model Jeannie Ferguson.

　

                                                          Day 3

Day 3 was the big day where the models and designers clothing came to life on the runway. Designers such as Pheline,Robert E. Knight, Jill Alexander, and many more put a beautiful closing to the event that has changed Fort Lauderdale Florida and the fashion world forever.

LS1426 Inc. Presents 1426 Fashion Week

1426 Fashion Week is the event you don't want to miss! Standard and Plus Models join together on the runway to bring to life fabulous designer clothing. This three day event will take place November 11-13 at the Sheraton Hotel located at 1825 Griffin Road Dania Beach, FL. The event opens with a welcome reception and fashion show from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, the second day will be a model workshop with runway super model Jeannie Ferguson and a designer trunk show. The last day will be the highly anticipated finale show!
